As it turned out, last year a large modification was released quite imperceptibly Assassin’s Creed Victory Project For Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate.

Backstory: during the development of the game, publishing house Ubisoft It was strangely considered that in the failure of her predecessor in the person of Assassin’s Creed: Unity is not only the terrible state of the game on the release, but also the too gloomy tone of the game. After that, the publisher forced the developers of the Assassin’s Creed: Victory developed at that time to change the overall tone of the game – to make London a more color and sunny city, and the plot is less serious, removing the particularly cruel topics of that era. Also, the game was renamed Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate.

It’s not difficult to guess, this modification is trying to transform the game by returning the gloomy atmosphere of London of the Victorian era to it – that is, to make it the same on the long screenshots from the Kotaku publication in 2014.

Judging by the screenshots from the modification – the authors succeeded. The authors changed some game models of the characters, the weather, updated the soundtrack for more gloomy music, suitable for that era, and even "Funny" The dialogs were replaced by the original ones, which Ubisoft for some reason did not remove the game from the files. In addition, more global changes were brought to the modification: now in the game there is only one main character – Jacob.

Unfortunately, the main modification developer said that its development greatly influenced his mental state and he decided to go on an unlimited vacation, having tied with modding games in principle. However, he decided to share his work with other players, even in an unnecessary form. Nevertheless, he would be glad if someone undertook to finish the modification and gives a complete card blanche for it, if there are one.

It is worth noting that the modification allows the user to choose what he needs: whether it is changed weather, soundtrack, model or plot. Thus, even given that the author did not manage to realize everything conceived in terms of returning the plot and gameplay capabilities, this modification is at least useful for users to use its finished part – a changed gloomy atmosphere, character models and soundtracks.
